Mary P. Carter is happy to share her music journey with you.  Music has always been a part of her world since she was a child singing in her church choir in Ohio.  She is an old soul who loves what was popular decades ago,  so she incorporates those eras into her songs.  Many of her songs have a "Motown" sound simply because she loves those artists, but her music represents several genres. She loves songs that pull at the emotions and inspire the listener to reflect and reach deep into their souls.
